Emigré a Estados Unidos hace 25 años. Soy madre de dos hermosas hijas. Propietaria y directora del Centro Infantil Bilingüe Arco Iris (AIBCC) en el condado de Prince George, Maryland. Me considero una apasionada defensora de la educación infantil temprana, apoyando a docentes, familias y niños. He trabajado en este campo durante los últimos 25 años.

Cuento con una Licenciatura en Ciencias en Administración de Empresas y actualmente curso una Maestría en la Universidad de Towson. Soy miembro activo de LCAM, MDMAEYC y de la Maryland State Child Care Association (MSCCA), donde me desempeño como presidenta del Comité de Defensa.

Mi aporte a LCAM ha sido abogar por las educadoras latinas, sin importar a qué asociación u organización pertenezcan. Deseo continuar apoyando a LCAM como lo he hecho desde que me uní como miembro. Me alegra que hoy LCAM se haya abierto a recibir miembros que trabajan en centros.

Desde el cargo de fiscal seguire contribuyendo al fortalecimiento de LCAM.

LCAM is constantly announcing classes that are essential for our license renewal, other classes that improve the provider's qualifications; it also informs us of grants, business management, any changes in childcare regulations, and other topics. Most importantly this organization serves a Spanish speaking community of providers in our own language.
