En LCAM nos llena de orgullo compartir los momentos especiales que vivimos en nuestra reunión mensual de abril con nuestras asociadas. Fue un encuentro lleno de gratitud, aprendizaje y comunidad.
Queremos expresar nuestro profundo agradecimiento a Anita Stewart, mentora y líder destacada, quien compartió su pasión por la educación infantil y nos inspiró con valiosas ideas para actividades de arte que pueden ser implementadas en nuestros programas de cuidado infantil. 🎨✨
También agradecemos especialmente a Josefina Ríos y Angélica Zaragoza por su constante apoyo, y a Laurita, quien desde “detrás de escenas” sigue siendo un pilar fundamental en nuestra organización. 🤝🏽
Nuevos Estatutos Aprobados
Durante la reunión, celebramos la aprobación oficial de nuestros nuevos estatutos (Bylaws), un paso importante hacia el fortalecimiento institucional de LCAM.
Agradecimiento especial a la Dra. Meylin Mejía
Queremos reconocer la trayectoria y el compromiso de la Dra. Meylin Mejía, quien ha sido un gran apoyo a lo largo de los años en colaboración con Montgomery College. Le deseamos éxitos en su nueva etapa profesional con MCCCSS. 🌟
Avance: Reunión de Mayo
📅 Nuestra reunión de mayo será presencial. Pronto compartiremos todos los detalles. Estas reuniones presenciales son una excelente oportunidad para conectarnos, compartir experiencias y mantenernos informadas sobre lo que está sucediendo a nivel local, estatal y nacional.

Moments That Inspire: Highlights from Our April 2025 Member Meeting
At LCAM, we are proud to share the special moments we experienced during our April monthly meeting with our members. It was a gathering full of gratitude, learning, and community.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Anita Stewart, an outstanding mentor and leader, who shared her passion for early childhood education and inspired us with valuable art activity ideas that can be implemented in our child care programs. 🎨✨
Special thanks also go to Josefina Ríos and Angélica Zaragoza for their ongoing support, and to Laurita, who continues to be a key pillar behind the scenes of our organization. 🤝🏽
New Bylaws Approved
During the meeting, we celebrated the official approval of our new bylaws, a meaningful step toward strengthening LCAM institutionally.

We want to recognize the dedication and contributions of Dr. Meylin Mejía, who has been a strong supporter over the years through her work with Montgomery College. We wish her the best in her new professional chapter with MCCCSS. 🌟
